It was just put on autoplay, which is a feauture on Spotify that all songs in the Top 5/Top 10 receive. I get Boy's A Liar after every song this week, before that it was Unholy. 

 

Those are legitimate streams, people can choose themselves whether they want to skip the song or not!

Most people on spotify are passive listeners

They listen by curated playlist. DFY coming after that every time is just bad use of algorithm which was made to recommend new songs to public

I can't believe they're still doing this in 2023  I've been getting Madison Beer, Camila Cabello, Liam Payne, Sabrina Carpenter and Niall Horan on Autoplay for YEARS, where are the hits?

This is even a more legitimate way to track GP interest in music and charts than radio itself, as a listener can choose to skip or continue listening.

 

Y'all always see a problem in those features until your fave benefits from it. Flowers literally went up 5m streams due to autoplay, where was the concern then?

Anti-Hero and Unholy didn't benefit from autoplay. And Flowers was extremely big already in all streaming platforms so it made more sense that it was recommended. DFY remix is falling in all other streaming platforms
