  1. I looove Death Wish, Daughter from Hell, Good Reason, and What If It's Right. Need more time with the rest..
  2. What a gorgeous album Rhinestoned an immediate classic Coyote, Loneliest Girl, Abilene, Hell on Me ... the highlights just keep coming
  3. love this. very Wolf Alice
  4. My Man on Willpower Sugar Talking Go Go Juice Nobody's Son Never Getting Laid But I also love Don't Worry I'll Make You Worry and Manchild... oh what an album
  5. I hope not, she's super talented and her last album showed so much potential. And seeing how Lily Allen is relatively smashing rn there's definitely a place for her kind of funny, crass, confessional songwriting to thrive. For her sake I hope it's somewhere a little left of mainstream that feels sustainable and healthy
  6. Loooooove this. I'm a sucker for sadder, slower, Tears/I Don't Wanna Know Charli
  7. her mind making Relapse the most addictive song on this... i keep playing it on loop
  8. She's always been so good at plainspoken, funny, devastating lyricism. Such an underrated influence on a lot of the current girlies. Relapse is my absolute fav here Dallas Major, Just Enough, P**sy Palace are all up there too. No skips!
  9. Looooove this album. goodnight n god ... the hymn you are
  10. I was soooo obsessed with this in elementary school... I have such a soft spot for country Taylor
  11. Nobody's Son is a better song and feels way more uniquely Sabrina. But I'm partial to My Man on Willpower personally
  12. Father Figure into Eldest Daughter
  13. the universal Father Figure praise... deserved shame about the absolute turd that follows it
  14. IMO, Taylor's best records aim for timelessness - 1989, folklore, parts of Red/Speak Now/Fearless - these records are aging so well whether you've got nostalgia for the original release or not. That's what's so jarring about the weakest parts of this album. The lyricism is so dated upon arrival
  15. When anyone called me late night He was screwing around with my mind Askin' "what are you wearing?" Too high to remember in the morning And when anyone called me "lovely" They were finding ways not to praise me But you say it like you're in awe of me And you stay until the morning Oh Honey the understated hymn you are.... they're not gonna get you on the first listen...
  16. Okayyyy i'm loving almost all of this! Whole album sounds great in headphones. You just have to accept that the lyrics are goofy as hell to varying degrees of success. Highlights: The Fate of Ophelia is a great single choice. Audibly said yayyy Opalite sounds like a song from the Trolls soundtrack, but I somehow mean this in a really good way I love Father Figure! People are gonna be annoying about the big d*ck lyric, but I think it works really well. Probably my favorite song she's made related to the Scott drama. But no more please Wish List and Wood are so stupid, I love them. How You Get The Girl/Message In A Bottle/I Think He Knows teas. I know it's not the most exciting song, but I actually love the simplicity of Honey. It's like a stronger Sweet Nothing. The last verse kinda made me tear up? She's really in love aw The Absolute Pits of Hell: Eldest Daughter... NOOOO. she took the worst lyrics from The Lakes ("with no one around to tweet it") and made a song full of them. Cancelled - IMMEDIATE chop. My least favorite type of Taylor song, as I feared it would be. Gave me the same full body cringe Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me did
  17. I was wondering this too, and realized it reminds me of the first verse of Miley's song Plastic Hearts
  18. there's no way the past few hours of keeping up with the Donnie / Strong scenario on Reddit while also refreshing ATRL while also joining random Discords while also scrolling X didn't cause permanent brain damage
  19. Damn this album isn't making much noise huh... like there's not even a wikipedia page 💀 It's excellent though! Spiders is probably my favorite, but it's such a solid listen throughout
  20. ohhhh i LOVE My Man on Willpower, Sugar Talking, and Don't Worry I'll Make You Worry
  21. i've been listening to bootleg live recordings for months but wow... an instant classic on its own, then doubled by the music video. i hope this is a smash!
  22. this is sooooooo good
  23. Shapeshifter, Favourite Daughter, Current Affairs, and Clearblue are all AMAZING wow. I didn't care about Hammer as a single but something clicked today. I'm not gagging for GRWM or Man of the Year quite yet, but I'm so happy with this overall and if there's one thing a Lorde album is gonna do it's get better with repeat listens
  24. i looooove the video. she just doesn't miss!
  25. meet her at the park at 7pm
