I recall many Gaga stans bashing the “‘meme PGs” Billie and Ariana all last year when the both of them had second weeks that were over twice as what Chromatica is predicted to do in its second week. Suddenly a second week of not even 60k behind an album in its FIFTEENTH week is something good? Interesting. OT: Not surprising.

You said all of this just to practically invalidate my experience, you’re a POC but I’m black. Don’t think you’ll ever understand that struggle so this is where the conversation will come to an end and I still don’t think you as a nonblack individual have the right nor the range to speak on how a black woman or any black person in general chooses to contribute because you’re not black. That’s it, that’s all.

If you’re white or nonblack in general I, as a black gay man living in America don’t really value much of your opinion on how a black woman chooses to contribute during this movement, that’s just how I feel.

Are you really trying to critique how a black woman chose to honor this whole movement while comparing her to a white woman? Really?

They didn’t, I literally linked someone the the old chart from the day following Billie’s album released and it was the chart.

This is where the confusion comes in for me because the rest of the albums listed only used the chart rather than the actual counter.

I just feel like some of the hive sounds very bitter especially because the mass buying only began because of the Nicki stans being taunted by some of the hive speaking on how Megan will get her first #1 before Nicki and how Bey will get another one before her despite both of them being....featured artists. There’s no need to really play oblivious and claim fraudulence because fans stepped up to the plate and changed the possible outcome within 48 hours. Just take it for what it is because there were hive mass buying as well and if this was the case where they were able to change the outcome I don’t believe there would be this big of a discourse about it. More of you would just talk about how it speaks on her fan power and talk about how her fans can spend money as it’s been done before.

The number will end up being higher but yes we love it when talent wins, his best album in years. I haven’t been able to stop listening, it’s up there with his earlier work for me.

I would hope her peak would be bigger seeing as she debuted in the digital era, what a shame that would’ve been if it wasn’t.

Everything I Wanted was a random standalone single much like The Cure if you needed perspective but the difference is only one even made the top ten and I’m referring to studio albums not soundtracks for movies that have been remade thrice over the span of 83 years lol. As I’ve said previously I hope Gaga maintains this alleged streak of success because I don’t wanna see Gaga stans on here complaining when she’s dragged for not doing so. You’re comparing everything to Gaga’s numbers but Billie’s album numbers which would clearly be the true indicator but again we shall see how this era plays out for Stefani.

She has an album with 5 billion streams and over 10 billion streams on Spotify just from standalone songs, an EP and one album. Her alleged ability as a streaming force isn’t alleged especially when her Bond song and Gaga’s lead single weren’t even 400k apart in streams and the latter was just released barely a week ago. Not to mention her album has sold more than Gaga’s last two and acclaim isn’t an issue for Billie either if we want to go there as she had one of the most acclaimed albums for 2019 and possibly even made more decade end album lists than Gaga lol. Now let’s hope Gaga can match Billie’s first week album sales even with her bundles and get a hit half as big as Bad Guy throughout this era.

I expect it the way LM were talking so let’s hope this is the case throughout the entire era. That’s cool and all but I expect it to remain just as consistent as both Billie and Ari seeing as the LM had the most to say about them being “meme pop girls” and things of that nature. The avant garde, larger than life figure that is Gaga according to LM should do well beyond them and we’ll be perched to see it.

It’s really not that uncommon lol especially for an artist who was proclaimed to be so successful and repeaked while Billie, Rihanna, Ariana, and Bey are all pale in comparison. This should be the case throughout the remainder of this lovely era as well according to LM.

All this was typed and I still don’t care and I still stand by what I said. Were you guys doubting her return after insisting she repeaked? It’s confusing to me to see a group of stans so excited for something they’ve been saying is inevitable. This should be light to you guys especially with the amount of hatred spewed towards Billie and Ariana from that fanbase specifically and the constant reminders on how she “repeaked” and the amount of threads about Shallow being bigger than various hits. Months were spent berating countless artists only for the LM to turn a blind eye and act like the hate she’s getting on here isn’t for a reason. We expect the rest of the era to pan out and be more successful than both TUN and WWAFA, WDWG? and we’re definitely tuned in.

Why are ATRL users acting like a top ten let alone a top five is that uncommon for an artist 12 years into their career especially when the charts are weak at the moment? That’s a serious question.

Can’t wait to see Billie in the top three and see ATRL fume yet again.

The DROP in expectations like some of you weren’t attacking Billie for having low numbers with a bond song meanwhile Gaga’s first and second day with her lead can’t even match the NTTD numbers.

Talent.

Billie #1 album and #3 for artists, what a debut. Love that for her, talent won and ATRL lost.

Where is that 71 singles number coming from? ? Rihanna has 44/45 (can’t remember the exact number) from all eight of her albums which are the only numbers RIAA used for her 125M along with the few album tracks that have been certified because if her features were included in that total she’d probably have the highest and even with features I don’t think she has 71 singles. ? OT: Katy was such a hitmaker at one point, a reign.
