Banger. The production, hooks, lyrics and structure of a Katy Perry single haven't been this uniformly strong in forever. The video is good if a little bit rushed.

Lord knows how it'll perform but the whole package feels so right for Katy Perry in 2026. She always puts the effort in but everything feels more focused – and crucially, less corny – this time around. I think Justin Tranter is a great fit for her. I hope they make an album together.

Interesting. They're the best part of a Katy song for me. That's why I stan Lifetimes. There's one feeble "I'm his queen" adlib but she should be serving Harleys in Hawaii belts.

Yeah I'm His, He's Mine has some vibe and flavour, even if the lack of massive adlibs at the end pisses me off every time I listen to it.

I wonder if she has any more solo versions to release. Gimme Gimme's 2nd verse is silly but I'm desperate so I'll take more.

The "time is gonna fly" bit at the end is such a rush and probably the best moment on the album.

This era is a shambles but I have faith that Lifetimes is going to pop tf off at Rock In Rio. The chorus is massive. She better do it. And NO Women's World.

Her store refunded my Woman's World vinyl promptly which is appreciated. It's a shame she sabotaged the launch of what could have been a triumphant era BUT I'm lowkey obsessed with all the snippets. Especially Lifetime. I have hope for the album

The "you better celebrate/we ain't going away" part cannot be real. It just can't. She's had some bad lyrics before that's just shambolic.

The first half of When I'm Gone is great but the last chorus is a damp squib. The polar opposite of Bon Appétit. If she really is serving fresher dance references that she's never touched on before like the fans say, then I'm gonna eat.

Not pushing the beautiful, rocky but intensely melodic, 12/10 bop that is Love is Embarrassing is just silly, especially when Get Him Back!'s performance made it clear that heavier sounds weren't going to cross over.
