Just checked with someone who understands and you’re right about the certifications being unreliable. we’ll i’d love to have a more reliable chart system but idk if anyone will ever do that.

well i'm all for an official chart for music fans i never expressed objection to that. All I said is that the general public wouldn't care too much because they are so used to the Galgalatz Charts which are considered the most important ones. If there will be a chart to combine radio and streaming that would be interesting to see I just hope people would actually care about it. Israel only started using Spotify / Apple Music in recent years. Until now everyone used mostly YouTube. maybe now it will be easier to create a more accurate chart as Israel entered the streaming era.

we don't have albums charts but albums aren't released that often and people don't usually buy them, they stream them. yet there are actually certifications for albums. We also have a singles chart called Media Forest based on radio mostly i think but no one actually cares about it. The major chart is the one of the major radio station in Israel. People wouldn't care about any other chart than that except Spotify / Apple Music / Youtube..

we don't need charts. There are top 100 on Spotify and Apple Music for my country
