"Bare with it" implies that radio should play something...people don't want to hear. How about "bare with" that Americans don't listen to music in languages they don't speak and that's why Despacito won't ever catch on here.

This isn't true at all Work was massive here. Even years back Cheerleader, What's My Name?, the tropical vibe Bieber hits, etc. have been hits. Shape of You even has that vibe. Despacito won't ever be a hit here because everyone speaks English and it's in Spanish.

A tour on behalf of the album...is completely unrelated to the album? So, selling copies of Joanne at THE JOANNE TOUR ...is unrelated to Joanne? How do you know that people buying the tickets didn't also want the album that came with their 300 dollar purchase? How is that any different than a free stream from your bed on spotify (for only maybe 30 seconds of the song )

That makes no sense. Nobody cared about that Chainsmokers EP but it charted almost exclusively because it had one hit song. It overblows their popularity in terms of how well-rounded they are. The BB200 used to be able to show who was selling entire projects. Now it's basically the Hot 100 without radio included. But...we already have the Hot 100. I think it would be fair to not count singles in the BB200 if you count streams and/or work out a metric that can show if a user has streamed more than half or all of a project. I mean, an album charting because of one song doesn't make sense. Obviously only the one song, not the whole project, is what is being consumed.

Gaga has been on 3 tours. No, the Fame Ball and Cheek to Cheek do not count You could subtract their totals and she'd still have around 495 million. Obviously not as much as Beyonce still but don't add on that extra crap everyone knows is not a Gaga tour. What's the secret 6th tour???
