Or just hang it up forever.

^NNnn right. Also where were y’all when this leaked last year lmao. I think we’re just starving cuz it is kinda hitting different

Most of the folks in here are not a part of the black American community so they’re truly doing the most. If Chris was as washed up as they claimed he wouldn’t still be racking up top 10s. And the people buying his music are women lol. He’s truly no different than any other problematic rapper. He’s trash, but the faux outrage ain’t it. And the people mad never supported him anyway. I find him to be trash but this does continue to solidify her presence in front of a demographic that might give her a more solid foundation of support.

He actually isn’t a flop at all lol.
  5. @WheresJaywas the video for this not a thing....?
  6. Yea I don’t generally like her music, but I thought the new songs would be more in the vein of the altar & little story but a lot of this sounds like her old stuff I can’t get it into. So if you’re an established fan, I could see this being fine. But as someone who wanted something new from her, I’m not amused.
  7. Normani‘s music videos always take forever regardless. She usually films them well in advance to drop the same week as the single, but Waves took like 3 (?) months and I don’t think she was expecting big numbers there either lol. Normani just takes her sweet ass time just because…
  8. Random songs blow up out of nowhere all the time so I won’t lose hope
  9. Yea, I can still listen to this song literally every day and it still hasn’t gotten old. If the video is giving what it needs to give, the potential is still very much there for this to blow up.
  10. I mean I was half kidding with the list, but lezbereal unless she has a #1 song at the same time as the album drops, I don’t think it’ll be that shocking for Mani to not do big album numbers & if that’s what y’all are expecting, I think y’all need to manage those expectations
  11. (edit: wait, I meant to quote the person above you lol) Ummm. You clearly didn’t follow 5H lol. It wasn’t until she went on DWTS that her and Lauren started to be the most popular and by then 5H as a whole was losing funding by Epic. Up until their last era, she was very much the least popular member of the band and I doubt anyone thought she would be the second most successful member of the band (so far) ahead of Lauren who still has more social media followers than her.
  12. I mean…There’s a lot of excuses that can be pulled out for a low debut for Normani. She’s still a new(ish) artist on her first album, least popular member in 5H, less than 10 mil Insta followers, no TTH Spotify payola or out the gate radio deals, no longterm solo hits, no #1s under her belt, R&B music, minority disadvantage…not as many excuses for the other one
  13. um. did you mean to inadvertently shade your own fave?
  14. Um, idk why....when sales are on a rapid decline and they still only did 75k because WFHs streams went toward it. Y'all look so delusional when you compare them. Youre really gonna compare her massively promoted singles to Down (a song that had almost no worldwide promo), Angel (a promo instagrat track whose single sales were merged with album sales), and another song that came out 3 days ago? don't quote me, just wanted to point out the ridiculousness in expectations for them. Y'all already think they're flops, yet you still wanna shade them when they sell less than the high standard you have for them.
  15. Why is it so hard to understand that only a small fraction of their fans are in the US? They're still mostly irrelevant here. Also y'all always act brand new as if Twitter followers should equal sales, when the same algorithm can be done for most of yalls faves. Selena Gomez and Ari have almost 100 mil Instagram followers and 50 mil twitter followers, but their sales in the US are like .01% of those followers...if that. It's the same trend for a lot of new artists in the age of social media.
  16. AAYYYYYYYY! Someone send this to the girls so that they can celebrate a (slightly) more relevant #1 chart
  17. TALENT ALWAYS WINS God Bless America! and all the beautiful women in it
  18. Whoops sorry. I thought that was the vid. I guess I'm talking about the video she has on Spotify? Does that not count?
  19. What are u talking about?
  20. Just. Stop. C was down to 112 on iTunes as soon as her track left Hot Tracks it was free falling the same, and as soon as they put it back up, it stabilized in the Top 100. Just. Stop. It helps. If those songs weren't on Hot Tracks they would be doing even worse.
  21. Uh. I saw this thread trending and thought it was a new thread about their lead single
  22. Are people really surprised his album sold more than Zayn? Harry's always been the most popular 1D member. Most of Zayn first single success was off the hype of him leaving first and the fact that his single had a more mainstream sound.
  23. Dangerous Woman should never have been the lead, or even a single at all. It should've been a track left on the album to contextualize the theme of the album
