So when to the free albums get redeemed? Or was that earlier? Ticket prices have been very low elsewhere so I'm surprised about these first few box scores.

MR will likely pull like 45-50k next week pushing it over 710,000. That means it wouldn't need too much streaming to put it over platinum status. It's likely already there or very, very close. Maybe 2x platinum is in the near future

Sales and Pandora are obviously doing fine. And MR has always done better on Apple Music. It's currently higher on AM even with entire Future and Big Sean albums crowding out the top 200. MR does not need to explode on every service for radio to play it.

Million Reasons is #6 because people are buying it more than the songs outside of the top 10. The end.

The demo that uses Spotify does not listen to Lady Gaga. She does much better on Apple Music and Pandora.

what does @simmnfierzig think of Million Reasons radio performance thusfar? It strikes me as odd but maybe more akin to Kiiara's Gold?

LOTB is doing good because a different type of listener likes the song. Kids listen to a lot of garbage or they listen to EDM/hip-hop hits. LOTB is a ballad so it's been doing on par or better than Needed Me in sales but less in streaming. Million Reasons is another one of those songs that'll do bad on Spotify but fine on radio or iTunes. Rihanna has the added buffer of being regularly played on many more formats, unlike Gaga who doesn't make hip-hop or R&B styled music. And yes, Tidal was a mistake. But I don't think it's too relevant to her. Someone like Gaga signing that deal with Tidal would've been a disaster move.
