I understand but I was also told that it's easier to go #1 on iTunes because of this "different sales climate". The decline is real, gurl. There's no denying it. You can't use one measure for one pop star and then use a different standard for another pop star.

If her single is struggling like this, imagine what her album will do. Very worrying, to say the least.

550K --> 108K. Ouch. That's a really steep decline. Perhaps one of the biggest in music history. Single sales are her bread & butter too. Worrying.

Although there's some truth to your statement, radio and Spotify stats can easily be payola'd, as we've seen earlier this week. At least sales give a more honest look into things, how irrelevant it may be.
