This was truly amazing. MAYHEM is so special. I loved how experimental and boundary pushing she was willing to be reinventing songs that we already know and love. I think this is a quality of hers she kind of repressed because of commercial pressure and fans wanting her to be successful all the time, but Requiem proves she should be whatever she wants to. The left field touches, distorted synths, vocal experimentation takes MAYHEM to new places that aren't necessarily better but different, loved it so much. Abracadabra being half piano / half upbeat was so early Gaga. Garden of Eden becoming a full time rock song felt so right. Killah is such a rush in this version, it's like Prince came back from dead in 2050 and decided to make music again. Zombieboy leaning on the Daft Punk tendencies. HBDUWM was already great and I love how she slowly builds the track from the ground up and introduces the synths on the second verse, I hope you all have seen the light now. Die receiving its best version almost two years later even though the original is good. I think this all bodes so well for her next album. So happy to see all of it.

Another good thing about this is that we get a DWAS solo version which I prefer.

Love the SOAM performance. The original song is one of her best productions ever, that guitar outro alone is a highlight of the album. I wish it went viral.
