I knew Madonna was going to get less than three minutes, but I didn't expect it to be that short. It was very well done, though, but I hyped so many people up for this.. I won't even check my phone or notifications... Chris Martin and his pretentiousness are to blame!

WELL... I knew it..... But Madonna was great, and as someone said, her part was the most visually stunning. She should have gotten more time. Half of the other performances there were unnecessary.

I'm just gonna quote myself with an update from Stuart regarding touring this record.

As of now, there are only devastating updates regarding her FIFA performance. The original lineup of Madonna, Shakira, and BTS has been expanded at the last minute with a bunch of mediocre straight men. And we all know why that is: Because no one craves attention and validation more than straight men. And now WE ALL have to suffer because of it. Ughhh, I can't stand them anymore. We can't even have an 11-minute halftime show. They just HAD TO come in and ruin everyone's fun. I won't be surprised if we get some karaoke or a snooze-fest at the piano from some of them... So the update is that we could have had almost a six-minute Madonna performance, but not anymore. We'll be lucky to get three. And if they can all keep their egos in check, there might even be a joint performance at the end with some song about unity and peace. Personally, I think it should be either Hot Sauce or Good for the Soul. But that might be a little too ahead of its time for some people. So we'll probably get something predictable.

Now that we know she's No. 1, I'm glad how Hot Sauce carried the album's sales so much. Therefore, my campaigning for Hot Sauce and the Icon Edition has officially come to an end. Now I'd like to dedicate my free time and energy to annoying everyone by campaigning for Good For the Soul. This song deserves more streams, please. (I don't like that the third track on the album has more streams on Spotify than the second one). And it's another one of my favorites. Please use it in your Instagram Stories, reels and TikToks. And please stream it at least 10 times a day. It's also the perfect song for a funeral. That's the thing. I think they were figuring out how to perform this dance music in a more sustainable way for her while still giving the audience a great experience, instead of trying to force complicated dance routines and sticking to her traditional tour format.

As for Club Confessions, it seems like they could be testing this format for the future. Would you guys mind if her live shows promoting CII were just her and Stuart behind the DJ booth (similar to what J.Lo did at Coachella with David Guetta)? She could perform some songs, and maybe even have a few dancers, like in the show she did in Times Square. (Think of it more as a DJ set rather than a traditional tour with four acts or so.) The set for clubs and festivals would focus mostly on songs from Confessions, along with remixes of some of her older tracks. Or would that slightly different performance format be too disappointing for you?

Just finished a workout with CII playing to celebrate the No. 1. I burned around 1,000 calories. I'm so dizzy. I'll probably collapse from exhaustion, but it was worth it.
