After the discussion around her relationship with Polydor, I have a feeling that some of these songs are actually addressing those issues rather than the divorce? Maybe I'm reading too much into it but Nice Things and Ways To Hurt strike me that way

I think the song she actually played was "Fields of Gold" as she previously released a cover of it and has performed it multiple times Excited for the going indie tease though!!

Hopefully we get a deluxe on streaming or the rest of the unused tracks surface eventually, sad Sweet Delusion isn't part of the album :(

+ People who attended listening parties of Muse's album seemed to be surprised by the song, say they both work surprisingly well together, has elements that are reminiscent of 'Bad Guy', it's not a ballad (it's rather heavy), a good amount of users have listed the song among their faves from the album

i'm loving this era so far. To me, it feels like she's fully embracing the music and that's her main priority this time around whereas on past albums she was trying to succeed, commercially, more than anything. Without label support but yeah that's out of her control. Idk it just feels like she's in a happy place where she feels secure enough to make the music she wants to and it lead to great stuff. I can't remember when was the last time I had been replaying a song of hers as much as BPD

So the two songs we've heard (3 if we count the SD leak) and the title track snippet are all like… really good. Thank god the insiders were wrong about this era, even the scrapped songs are good
