There's variety, the production hits, the tracklist flow is nicely done and there's nothing too cringe. It's a Madonna album in the 20 sounding exactly how it should and that's an accomplishment in itself given the past few albums. I don't think anyone expected something crazy experimental or genre-bending anyway, people just wanted it to be good.

If there's ever another album, she could and should do a haunting trip hoppy Betrayal x I Want You x Mer Girl x Nobody's Perfect x Easy Life type project.

I still maintain especially now that we've all heard it, this never needed to be named Confessions II or marketed as a sequel at all. A project this strong didn't need to stand under og's Confessions' shadow or compared to it. Danceteria or Love Sensation would've worked. But I get it, marketing and hype.
