BTS don’t do fan signs in America and they arent doing any for this era in Korea either. They definitely aren’t just buying the music, but BTS has shown they can have way less tactics than American acts and achieve similar pure sales results. I think that’s the main point their fans want to brag about.

Because it’s more of a package than a typical bundle. Merch bundles usually include a digital copy of the album. If you’re a fan you’re most likely going to buy the physical copy/some copy of some sort then buy merch. If BTS did that merch bundle method, I garuntee their sales would be higher lmao. Just look at SuperM. Same album package concept, but it was their merch bundle that got them that #1.

Who cares if all their sales are in the first hour, week, or month. People are buying their albums. That’s all an artists could hope for and what western artists were/still are fighting for instead of receiving pennies from streaming, and having to do 150 date tours to supplement their income. Along with merch + tour bundles that decrease their earnings even more.

Many westerns acts have adopted the different version method and their sales? They’re applying STADIUM bundles too. Didn’t Taylor have like 8 versions of Lover? You can choose the version you want just not for pre order and there was a poster in one online store for pre orders. No target exclusives. That’s it. Give up. The western acts just don’t have the fandom power. BTS are making bank on their music and touring. That’s all that matters.

With this lackluster performance it’s not showing good signs. P!nk has a mature audience that respects her because of her music regardless of album sales she’s had many adult hits. Sorry but Justin has never established himself as a touring act in the league of PINK. He’s a very hype based act. He can do well without it, but he only sees stadium level success when he has hype backing him. A poorly performing single is not a good signal for his tour. The Jonas Brothers were gone a lot longer cause their first attempt at coming back Flopped to high heavens, and Nick wasn’t that successful to where anyone remembers about it. They banked on nostalgia cause sucker isn’t good at all actually lmao. Tbh I don’t even know what this back and forth is about but things already aren’t looking good for him that’s all I have to say
