  1. A future Republican Congress could overturn it, yes. Congress would have to pass a constitutional amendment to codify it permanently. But, it would still need to be ratified by 38 states to become enshrined constitutionally, which wouldn’t be likely.
  2. I didn’t like that either, BUT finally someone brought up court packing.
  3. This I actually agree with. We are at a point where people are voting as a referendum on Trump himself. Most voters have decided.
  4. this is a kii. But we all knew Bernie was the actual electable candidate.
  5. American democracy is really dead huh?
  6. She lost after improperly using the word losses, so I’ll continue to discredit her.
  7. I’m really enjoying watching the DNC do what the RNC tried in 2016.
  8. This. I stopped watching The View after the continued ass-kissing of Biden.
  9. Sanders is about to ascend the nomination! We love to see it.
  10. Sure, on a national political level, you could definitely say he’s ineffective in passing laws, but that’s an obvious feat of any politician. It’s rare for most things to pass, but it’s the committee work that actually matters. What policies and solutions he can provide in these committees are an accurate portrayal of his work. He sits many subcommittees and committees for healthcare, education, and the environment. Even his mayoral record, despite some hiccups, is fairly inconsistent with this idea he doesn’t do anything in office. everything else your listing is a null argument since that’s true of any two party system and how American politics operates.
  11. After reading these past few pages, I have some slight input about Bernie. I do believe Bernie has a very high possibility of winning the nomination, a lot of people in red states resonate with his message and I do believe a lot of Americans agree with his stances. You have to give credit to the American people cause we know a lot of Bernies signature bills will probably fail in the Senate, but I do believe he speaks to the working class on a level we haven’t seen since FDR. I do believe Bernie will prioritize and help lift the working class while regulating the crap out of the corporations and special interests who have hijacked our government. Bernie is an Independent, not a Democrat and was smart to run under the umbrella of a Democrat to achieve recognition nationwide, that third parties will never get in this country. In reality, Donald Trump is also an Independent and also ran under the umbrella of an Republican, both Bernie and Trump are populists, and for them in a general election. It’s literally a working class populist fighting another populist. A safe choice like Biden is and will forever be a losing election for Democrats
