Political streamers are less than worthless regardless of where they lie on the political spectrum. I don't know who this lady is, but all she does is in this clip is criticize the government of the country that she is from and he just lists of a litany of personal attacks and whataboutisms: '**** you old lady", "suck my dick old lady", "what about the US", "**** this refugee" and then bizarrely tells her to go back to her country and leave the US if that's how she feels. The last one doesn't even make sense to me given that she's criticizing the country she came from, not where she is now? Like even if this lady is super far-right (which I'm assuming based on the context of him reacting to her), you would think that someone who makes millions from being a political commentator could come up with a succinct, logical takedown of her points rather than just scream a bunch of insults at his screen. And the insults aren't even funny or clever, it's literally just "**** you suck my dick" and people are impressed? Your average Twitter stan could come up with funnier reads on this lady in their sleep.

So you weren't annoyed by the notifications from the other users who all downvoted the same exact posts I did? I'm really confused why you're so upset with me when they did the exact same thing BEFORE I did. I get that notifications can be annoying, but there's multiple posts on the first page of this thread that have generated close to 100 responses. If it's that much of an issue, it should be taken up with the admins because I don't control how notifications work on this site nor was I specifically targeting you with responses given that I've made responses to posts on almost every page of this thread (and many others). Like, am I going insane here? I truly don't understand what I've done wrong. EDIT: I'm going to try to put this to rest because there's already been multiple posts made in this thread about my responses that are frankly off-topic and I don't want to see this thread further derailed. -I downvoted the posts because I felt your posts were simply excuses for Fantano's disgusting comments. I didn't make my own posts replying to them because I felt the person who responded to your posts did it better than I could have which is why I gave those posts a 'Thanks' response. -My intention in making responses to posts is not to spam people's notifications, it's to express my agreement or disagreement with the posts or simply to show that I found the post funny. It's the same reason why I might like an Instagram post or upvote/downvote a reddit post. I don't make a response to every post or most posts, just the ones that I think are particularly worthy of one and I tend to only add on to responses that are already existing. I think any admin that digs into my profile will see that I don't 'spam' responses, I don't stalk users across the site to give them downvotes and I tend to only visit a couple threads in a given day, if that. -I honestly don't believe that the reason you're upset is because of notifications, I believe it's because you don't like the fact that people disagreed with your posts. I hardly think you'd be making such a fuss if I gave your posts an upvote instead. -Finally, I hope we can MOVE ON and get back to the topic of the thread at hand because I don't think this is interesting to most of the people here and it has nothing to do with the thread topic.

And now that I go look on the posts, I'm not the only user who downvoted all those posts without making an explanation post so why exactly am I being singled out here? There's at least 2 other users who downvoted all those posts. Given that context, it's really bizarre that I was the one @'d in the first place and that you are backing them up as a mod. Can you explain what I've done wrong here and how it differs from the same users who also downvoted the same exact posts I did @Ace Reject?

I mean, I didn't realize that there was a limit on the responses we can use? I made responses both positive and negative to a bunch of posts in this thread. It's not like I stalked that person's account and was down voting every post they've made? It was a few on this page of the thread only and one specifically was calling me out because they can't handle a red thumbs down on a couple of their posts which I thought was ridiculous. Should I explain all 'Thanks' and 'Haha' responses I've made too while I'm at it? Most forums allow people to use these responses without having to make posts explaining why they did so. The responses kind of speak for themselves? I'm just using the feature the way it's been commonly used on forums on the internet for years, but if it's that big of a deal then I won't use the response feature on this site anymore, but I do think it's kind of ridiculous for someone to get this upset about it especially when literally every post I downvoted was one that other people had downvoted except the one where they specifically @'d me and demanded an explanation. In fact, pretty much every response I've ever used on this site were on posts that already had existing responses on it.

Last I checked she was defending Elon Musk's anti-queer views saying 'he just hates woke people', claiming she's become 'less gay' since being with him and saying that the gay community are the ones who are actually intolerant, not Elon. Not to mention that she attended and performed at inauguration events for Trump and has a new circle of far-right besties like Curtis Yarvin who writes books advocating for right-wing authoritarian dictatorship. Grimes is an incredibly unintelligent and unprincipled person and we don't need her.

It's an interesting legal question. Historically in the US calling someone gay was considered defamatory, but in recent years many judges have ruled that gay rights have progressed to such a point that being called gay should no longer be considered defamatory and recently most of these cases have been dismissed. This is Colombia though so obviously the laws and the legal history are different, if this lawsuit is even real.
