This is so fun and cohesive, I didn’t play out the leaks but definitely listened a handful of times. I also loved Feed the Beast, even though it has a few skips and the tracklist is Frankensteined. I hope her label gives her more creative freedom, FTB could’ve been her Monster/Paradise/Cannibal to the original Problematique but I’m just glad she got to put this out and put it to rest

The alt cover is incredible. This is going to be the first vinyl I’ve ordered before hearing a record for the cover alone

I’m really enjoying this but it feels more like a playlist than an album. My OCD reorganization of the tracklist: 1. Castle in the Sky 2. Future Starts Now 3. Alone 2.0 4. Uhoh 5. Revelations 6. Feed the Beast 7. Hit it from the Back 8. Coconuts 9. Sex Talk 10. Brrr 11. King of Hearts 12. Claws 13. Minute I still feel like Coconuts/Sex Talk don’t fit the dungeon dancepop aesthetic but they’re both such fun songs. Also, no hate to Bait or Thousand Pieces, they just kind of… don’t really add much. I hope Kim gets to fully flesh out her vision next time around without label interference. I’m excited to see what she does next - she makes great pop music!

So excited for this, honestly gave up on the idea of an album even coming after the droplets. In my perfect world she would put out a super cohesive 14/15 track standard edition and then do a 20+ track deluxe. She sure does love her long albums, but I feel like Pink Friday benefits as a whole from having a shorter tracklist (for Nicki standards)

Kesha has always been super spiritual and you can see from her lyrics/interviews that she has been exploring a spiritual path that is specific to her since the beginning. (In 2011 she was talking about how she was wearing her aged placenta to keep herself open to other realms ) She might not be relatable with the new lyrics to everyone but it’s definitely hitting for me

I’m so excited for this! I’ve loved Kesha forever and I’m always rooting for her. My 2012’d username is a K$ reference and she’ll always have a special place in my heart. I always wanted the Flaming Lips collab album that was teased pre-Warrior so I’m excited to see what kind of altpop excellence she gives us with Gag Order

I haven’t revisited her unreleased catalogue in a while but if anyone can pull off a full album of unreleased tracks, it’s Lana Like tiktok/Lana stans could get an outtakes album to #1 depending on the tracklist and release week tbh

The guitar kind of does have a similar sound to it. I feel like with some tracks on the album you can really hear/feel her classic rock inspirations shine through, which is strange to say because the music is still very Lana

Waited until official release and had all day to digest this one, I think it’s in my top 3 with NFR and UV but we’ll see over time I didn’t appreciate The Grants’ intro when it was released as a single, but I love it now in context with the album. Let The Light In, Peppers, Grandfather, Margaret, and Kintsugi were all very immediate for me, but the entire album is solid. I saw a user in here say Light sounds a little like On Our Way, which is one of my favorite unreleased tracks, and I think that’s why that one stuck out immediately. I love Margaret and don’t really get the Taylor comparisons - I just love how genuinely happy she sounds on that track. Peppers is a BANGER and I was floored when it transitioned into the wipeout surf rock section. I love hearing her talk her **** in that first verse, she’s knows she’s that girl The only track I’m not using is Judah Smith (I feel like the album has some sequencing issues with the middle part of the tracklist which can easily be fixed with a playlist - but this is the case with LFL and maybe a few of her albums) but I do have to say I really enjoy the Jon Batiste Interlude. One user previously said it’s her nod to Pink Floyd and ever since then I’m really feeling that Dark Side of the Moon vibe it gives after Candy Necklace Lurking and reading everyone’s opinions has been fun and it’s interesting to see how one user’s #1 is another’s least favorite. Definitely a polarizing album compared to her others but I think it’s a great body of work overall and does a fine job at referencing her past, but still being something completely fresh for LDR.

Do the barbs think she’s finally starting NM5 era or is this another droplet? I’m trying to decide if I wanna let myself get as invested as I was when I was expecting the album last summer

Yeah I get that. Her paying any attention to ARTPOP this year is a pipe dream anyways, but I just love DWUW and think it’s a staple part of the album and her headspace at the time. I have no idea what she was thinking having R. Kelly on the song originally when everyone knew about his allegations in the first place

This made me cackle I’m still holding out hope that she drops an ARTPOP 10 year anniversary edition in November (with solo DWUW and some of the Act II/b-side tracks on streaming). If we aren’t getting LG7 until 2025 after J:FAD it would be nice to hold the fans over

I’ve been lurking and never really post on atrl anymore, but this is all I’ve been listening to the past few days. I grew up in the south listening to self-titled and following her career, and after letting this sit for a few days I can honestly say it’s her most consistent pop effort. It might be better than 1989 and Reputation for me (even though it still might be too early to rank) just because it feels like a more evolved version of those albums. I know I’m in the minority saying this but I actually LOVE Question
