Their new album coming out August 28th

Second single Crawl is out now, with promo single Heretic and first single Sleeping with the Enemy already previously released

I've kinda given up hope on this band but the album run from The Dream to Ritual is still iconic and I'll still always wanna support my women in rock/metal

I listen to everything in full but I definitely skip fly like an eagle and it's intro. I have like three or four favs each from mother and ritual. the rest is like, okay...

Beautiful tragedy I could not tell you how each song sounds like at all outside of the two singles. And I own all three of those albums on CD.

The new album is 3 covers apparently! I'm like cmon yall lol. Your setlists are only like 9 songs anyways and now your albums are 1/4th covers usually?

Yeah besides When The Storm Subsides and Beautiful Tragedy I don't really use anything from their debut either

Yikes! 3 covers? I'm sorry but a bunch of covers on your STUDIO albums is the epitome of laziness. Haven't checked for them since Black Widow and I think it will stay like that

I'll have to give it a proper listen in the car but I'd rank it middle of their albums at the moment. Nothing besides Shame jumped out on first listen, but I'm also listening passively while working so need to give it my full attention for a proper ranking

I'm gonna wait for my CD. I literally just ordered it with the cassette and Cloud vinyl a few hours ago. I'm not THAT excited for this album for some reason.

There's the three song covers (which I want new personal material from the artist I'm listening to), the album tracklist is short as hell and I've heard that Kat Von D is racist?

Thankfully you can't really tell when Kat is singing. But also weird af choice to have her on the album. Ever since Natural Born Sinner I've been like "my liberal queen!" But now…idk lol

I've listened to it the past two days and tbh…while I don't hate it I don't think I'm gonna keep the album lol. Nothing really hit me as amazing and I found myself wanting to listen to other stuff while playing it

Shame, I Want To Believe, Crawl (didn't like it when it came out but has kinda grown on me In the context of the album), and Heretic are the only ones I can say I actually like at the moment

Shame is kinda same old same old though lyrically but still good

I used to be of the opinion that they found their new sound after Blood and they should stick with it but now I want them to go back to The Dream and Star Crossed WSteland sounds more. More rock and less electronic drowning everything out

I think I'd rank the album #7 out of 9

i listened to the digital release while i was at work and.. i hate it lol

i still bought it on LP, CD and Cassette even though i did not like it. i think Heretic and Crawl are enough for me to buy them. i LOVED those two on first listen and i had two of my coworkers listen to Crawl when it came out. one of them said she didnt like the screaming at the end and the other said he thought it was a bop. the screams are my fav part of the whole song, which is why Heretic is my fav song since i think Black Widow.

but yeah i agree, i want to hear how it would turn out if they revisited the Beautiful Tragedy sound and completely go full pure Hardcore rather than electronic Alternative Metal.

6. Godmode (only because it has The Purge, Sanctify Me and Skyburner)

7. Beautiful Tragedy (i only put this under Ritual because i listen to it less and a lot of the songs do sound the same to me. which is kinda odd given what i said above)

8. Mother (the title track i think is a career highlight and i love The In-Between)

9. Witch

i want them to do more remixes tbh i LOVE the MIW remix of Sick Like Me
