"Where has all the leadership gone? If not for university presidents, law firm managing partners, and corporate chief executives standing up against bullies, who then will step up for the first amendment?" Michael posted on X (September 19).

"The 'suspending indefinitely' of Jimmy Kimmel immediately after the Chairman of the FCC's aggressive yet hollow threatening of the Disney Company is yet another example of out-of-control intimidation," he continued. "Maybe the Constitution should have said, 'Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, except in one's political or financial self-interest.'"

"By-the-way, for the record, this ex-CEO finds Jimmy Kimmel very talented and funny," he said.

Michael Eisner criticising the lack of leadership at Disney is the most beautifully ironic thing i've seen all day. The fact he's right just makes it even better.

But good to know he's not a Trumper.

I've side eyed Disney for a while now. I found it very strange how bad the characterization of the Little Mermaid and Snow White was. It's like they wanted the girls to be even more hated than they already were

I would like to add some context that Bob's return to Disney was meant to be temporary. He did not find a successor and thus extended his stay at Disney.

Its even more ironic that Bob Igor will have to resign in disgrace a SECOND time after his first resignation years ago. :dies:
