She's very talented but I have yet to hear a good song by her, or at least something that isn't a direct reinterpretation of what's already trendy in anglo music.   Even someone like Belinda

  • Seems like the video will be novela inspired       Also, she taped a performance yesterday for Jimmy Kimmel, not sure when it will air.

1Trago and Atari deserved so much better, but I am happy she's not giving up on cvnty pop

Perched! the snippet sounds kinda messy, but gonna wait to hear the full thing to judge

Even someone like Belinda has explored sounds & styles beyond the norm. I would love to see that from Danna, because that woman has one of the most potent voices in pop... and yet, it's usually wasted on these Televisa-ass meme musical productions.

"Tenemos Que Hablar" is a bop. Hoping for this new era to have more success than previous one.

Looks like it will feature El Malilla

He posted that on TikTok.

Some of her fans seem to be having a meltdown because of this. I am not familiar with his music, I think he's a reggeaton artist but she song is clearly gonna be a pop bop or something a little different so who knows.

There was also this preview for the music video, whatever the case is, it seems like she and her team/label are really going to push this one.

I would hardly refer to the majority of CHILDSTAR as Televisa-ass meme songs. She was giving us electro-pop with a dark narrative while everyone was doing reggaeton in Mexico, so I'd hardly call her a trend hopper either. We'll see what she brings this time.

Honestly....

Not sure how to feel about it.

For starters it's 2:06 so I hate how short it is. I also think her voice is way too edited.

Also not sure how to feel about the sample/interpolation, like I am glad it's not a copy paste but still is kind of the backbone of the song?

I don't know if the structure is genius or just all over the place, it feels like several different songs attached to each other.

It's daring for sure and risky so I will give her that. It's also uptempo so I will probably add it to my summer playlist. I hope it becomes a hit for her.

The video is a slay though.

I think it needs to grow on me, but I really loved the video

Why does it sound like Belinda on that chorus :deadbanana4:

Same thought, she thinned out her voice and it kinda sounds like Belinda :suburban:

It's serving camp and gay bop. They really pulled that sample off. Sounds way better and more interesting than CHILDSTAR minus the singles s:wan:

What does it sample?

Toma Que Toma/Yo Tengo Un Novio, it was a very popular song in the 00s

It's kind of all over the place but it grew on me after the first couple listens. It feels like a club mix of an actual song. At least it's not generic!

so the snippet was the chorus and it is best part of the song? :monkey:

somebody said it might be her best song ever or her worst, not sure yet

You know… this is a messy bop. But the thing is you can't even tell it's her. She does sound like Belinda
