I've been flip-flopping this whole era, after a few listens, I think I'm underwhelmed. The singles are cute + Bloodline is a bop - but that's it for me. We need to lock her in the studio with Röyksopp for more electronic stuff, it really suits her. After their 3 collabs, I would eat up a joint mini-album/EP like Do It Again.

just got my notification from DHL, it was shipped out without notice and I've (once again) been hit with $50 in import fees from her store

I'm glad I didn't rush to get this on vinyl because it's a relatively underwhelming/underbaked album. Also the shipping for the vinyl itself was almost as much as the cost of the vinyl itself!

I've just finished my first listen and wow, i loved Bloodline so much, it's an amazing song!!!!

 

The rest is cute , maybe Hot Fever Dream can grow on me a little bit more!

yeah, the exact reason I avoid her store. back when she was selling the signed Leave It Beautiful repress, I obviously had to get one. I paid 900 NOK for the vinyl + shipping from Norway to literally another European country. then DHL hit me with customs since Norway is not in the EU - so the grand total I paid for that one single LP came out to around $125  I hated myself so much for it. if I ever decide to get this album, I'm ordering it from imusic or something since it's exact same version, she's not selling them signed this time.

I'm importing to South America this time so it was bound to happen. I purchased and didn't look back because I knew I was gonna have to pay the fee anyways.

me and my friend listened this album together and the songs feel unfinished somehow. the choruses don't stand out and right when you are waiting for the bridge the song ends. it had potential to be good but it's just okay now cause the songs lack some good structure.

 

bloodline had such a good verses and pre-chorus but the chorus seems sleepy. and no bridge again

 

I'm sorry I love you too had so good pre-chorus and nice verses but to me the chorus is too repetitive and doesn't fit to the song. this one could've used a bridge too

is there any news about a deluxe? this album would really benefit from it

considering that LIB "deluxe" was Hurts So Good + pre-album standalone singles, I can't really see it unfortunately. she'd probably throw those scraps/demos (Come First, Side Effects, That Guy, Darkest Hour, etc.) + Hurts So Good onto it
