it's becoming increasingly more sensible to release in Q1-Q2 rather than Q3 and especially Q4 cause we're fed with Christmas cr** for longer and longer every year. Releasing in Nov or Dec makes 0 sense, and to an extent October is making less and less sense. You have a 1-2month window to do something, and then everything goes dead. I could write an essay on how the commercialisation of Christmas is ruining the music industry, but prob not the best topic to do so lol

Election season will overshadow anything else so I think they wanna avoid releasing around the same time. But I also think it´s just a coincidence of album cycles lining up together. Dua was long overdue for a new album, Billie releases every 2/3 years so she was bound to either release in 2023 or 2024 anyways. Taylor is Taylor, Ariana was overdue as well, we knew Bey was coming with another act. It was a matter of time before all the big artists would all release again
