Sexual_Gold Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Speaking of a new single, wasn't she filming something in Barcelona a couple weeks ago at the same swimming pool Slow by Kylie was shot?

That looks high budget and will most probably take 2-3 months to be released, it's most probably Illusion. As for promo single, ig it's 'These Walls', she specifically mentioned the song during Rolling Stone's interview…. Edited March 29 by NostalgiawithDua 1
RadioactiveLights Posted March 29 Posted March 29 This era's kinda like the Body Language to Future Nostalgia's Fever. Jk I want it to do better 1
Mark Rih Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Literally can't wait for this. All these new releases aren't doing it for me and nothing comes close to the perfection that Godini and TS are Dula will get her flowers in the end 11 1

The album delivering will just help this era continue being stable. There is clearly still interest in Dua, and she and her team need to do better to leverage that. Way too many mistakes made this era. It still makes me crazy that we've gotten one performance of Houdini this era. ONE. 4

Dua era's have never depended on the first week, or the first month, and neither will this We can only truly assess how the era did mid 2025. If we were going off of FN's first week it was an underperformance (#4 in the US and #2 in the UK) with a nice hit in DSN and that would've been it Reminder that Levitating started becoming a hit 10 months after FN was out, and that's what gave the era its 2nd wind. Anything can happen with Dua 4

I do believe that she can pull it off. 2
Cain Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Y'all she has freaking Glastonbury and a huge world tour lined up 😭 her image is still very much in tact, in fact, I'd argue this is the best and biggest her celebrity status has ever been As someone who's been into stan culture for over a decade now (aka old), I can say that a mid or underperforming era has rarely been the end of anyone that's worked on their image. If your career is solely based on GP appeal and radio, then sure, a decline in those factors could be the end. But as much as this site would like to say otherwise, Dua very much has a distinct image and the 2nd biggest global celebrity status of her generation behind Billie (also arguably beaten by SZA and Olivia in the US, but far ahead of them ww) She's build a foundation and released string of hits since 2015 for her to now be in safe waters, even if she doesn't produce a smash this era. There's always the re-release, or collabs, or next era. She's no longer on borrowed time and can just go ahead with completing her vision for RO and giving it the biggest tour of her career thus far 1 8
Burqa Posted March 30 Posted March 30 people on twitter seem to be invested in her relationship with callum which is good for her celebrity status. if people know about her personal life, her songs will feel more relatable (eg: lose you to love me being a standard break up song but everyone talked about it bc of bieber drama) 2

The Houdini/TS imagery is very dry and clean just like the album cover. For me it's more that internet is making people having this feeling that everything needs to be obvious/in your face. Some people needs to learn what's nuance. Two weeks late, but speak on it sister

It's going to fall below #50 as a chart placement and if you can't stay above that threshold and you've been on the charts for 20+ weeks, you're automatically removed from charting unless you can pick up in Hot 100 points. Not really a big deal, it's charted for 20 weeks so at least there's that. 1
KatyPrismSpirit Posted March 30 Posted March 30 It's been 20 weeks since Hoedini already? Time goes so fast 1
