Iris Posted May 2 Posted May 2 After listening to the album a couple of times, my trinity is Houdini - Illusion - Maria.
Hephaestus Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Future Nostalgia vs End of An Era Don't Start Now vs Houdini Cool vs Training Season Physical vs These Walls Levitating vs Whatcha Doing Pretty Please vs French Exit Hallucinate vs Illusion Love Again vs Falling Forever Break My Heart vs Anything for Love Good In Bed vs Maria Boys Will Be Boys vs Happy for You
DoubleRainbow! Posted May 2 Posted May 2 people claiming different songs: Maria, Falling Forever, End Of An Era, Whatcha Doing im so excited can't wait anymore
Burqa Posted May 2 Posted May 2 if the album had 2 more club bangers like Houdini or Illusion instead of EOAE and AFL it would eat up FN with ease hopefully the deluxe won't disappoint

West Coast Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Even when I'm here in his arms I know you're somewhere in his heart
_Fey Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Will listen to Happy For You one last time before catching my flight out of New Zealand. 1 2
burninredhot Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Watcha Doing is the standout track for me. The rest of the album has to grow on me but my top 3 on first listen Watcha Doing Houdini These Walls 1
Peak Now Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) Future Nostalgia vs End of An Era Don't Start Now vs Houdini Cool vs Training Season Physical vs These Walls Levitating vs Whatcha Doing Pretty Please vs French Exit Hallucinate vs Illusion Love Again vs Falling Forever [this matchup... why ] Break My Heart vs Anything for Love Good In Bed vs Maria Boys Will Be Boys vs Happy for You Edited May 2 by AndThenTheCocaine
Burqa Posted May 2 Posted May 2 the album shoot has a lot of unseen sets can't wait to see the visualizers
JDC Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Falling Forever is a career highlight omfg, I don't see it as a single but it's a masterpiece! The album is good but too short, I was starting to feel Anything for Love and it ended no skip but the weaker tracks are for sure French Exit and Anything for Love, she needs to extended this era with multiple versions, there's so much potential
TouchinFree Posted May 2 Posted May 2 On watcha doing ATM and I'm loving this sound of the album. This feels like a very pop tame impala album. My hot take. This album isn't made for charts. But longevity. Much like tame impala's albums. My God watcha doing is incredible. Pure tame impala..... might be a massive hit if pushed. 2
TouchinFree Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Omg French exit OMGGGGGGG I need the instrumental right the **** now my God that flute. Kevin Parker is a ******* genius. Those guitar strings and the that sensitive flute ******* byeeeee
Saint James Posted May 2 Posted May 2 this album is a small step backwards for Dua. such middle of the road pop songs. im happy if other people can enjoy it, but i can't at all. this sound, this combination of writers and producers does not work at all imo. 3 8

TouchinFree Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Jesus christ falling free Her voice and those drums Why wasn't this the lead? Even though I love Houdini. What an album so far. Finally some good pop songs. 1
enchanted0 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 This album sounds like two different albums combined. Feel good, breezy tracks (End of An Era, These Walls, French Exit and Anything For Love) and groovy, european sounding pop smashes (Houdini, Training Season and Falling Forever). It doesn't feel cohesive at all. Still, the album is good enough. Meanwhile it's aiming for mainstream, it gives some twists here and there so doesn't sound too basic or predictable.
Burqa Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Happy for You is really growing on me. It just feels very DL1 as opposed to the rest of the album
Cain Posted May 2 Posted May 2 End Of An Era, Houdini, Training Season, These Walls, Watcha Doing, Falling Forever and Maria very good 2
tellyourfriends Posted May 2 Posted May 2 crazy how this album sounds nothing alike to fn, some people really had the audacity to call those singles fn rejects💀 they got no excuses left now 2 3

This seems like an artistic step up for her on the first listen. I don't think this was made to serve mega hits at all infact the opposite. It's pop but isn't radio pop per say. 3
