Flowers for all. I love Billie, but Bad Guy wasn't as big as Flowers during its year, and Bad Guy's recurrent streams are pretty bad.    

I personally find Flowers very flavorless and boring. Bad Guy is a great song to me. However Flowers seem to be bigger by any metric

i prefer Flowers actually. And that was the bigger song globally and in the US

I used to love Bad Guy but it doesn't sound as great in 2024. I'll go with Flowers

Flowers is bigger, but bad guy pulled off things it couldn’t. Billie somehow made a song that heavily satisfied her fans, attracted new ones, appealed to Gen Z as a whole, accurately represented her album’s sound, successfully introduced her to millennials, and garnered industry respect from older generations.

 

Flowers was successful in doing the last one, but falls off the younger you go (hence why its sales positions are always stronger in comparison to streams).

 

As a whole, bad guy did more for Billie’s brand than Miley with Flowers but that also comes down to Billie attaching bad guy to a strong album while ESV wasn’t (and still Miley won some Grammys so it isn’t all bad).

 

In singularity, Flowers is bigger. As an overall package, bad guy achieved more.
