Do you believe Ciara is underrated?

She's been around for 15+ years and scores the occasional hit yet people act like she is completely irrelevant.

No. Her music's quality is so low now. 

 

I bet is her last good song and before that it was taking back my love in 2008.

Not really? I'd say she's more relevant than you'd expect looking at her recent chart positions. She transitioned into being a full-time celebrity better than a lot of her mid-00s peers.

Her music has been really hit or miss for years now but I feel like she's not really taking music seriously anymore and she's treating it more like a hobby.

I don’t think her music is as bad as people say it is nowadays buuuuttt it’s clear that she’s last her prime.  I think she’s gathered a certain amount of respect for stating relevant for so long.  
 

that said I still think she’s underrated as I’m a pretty huge fan and think she has quite a bit of classics.  

She's become a huge celebrity so no, not really. Music from her feels like a side project anyway.

Yeah but it’s her fault cause when she does make a banger she puts it on the back burner over mid songs.

 

”Overdose” & “Dance Like We’re Making Love” wouldve got her career together…..

no. she keeps making music from 2006 and hasn't grown as an artist. 

No one can take her insane debut away from her.

I'd say she's more so underappreciated than underrated. She serves solid tunes and brings electrifying choreography, but she's not necessarily shaking anything up.

Her new music doesn’t match her talent and she continues to make the same kind of song over and over again.

 

 For some reason nobody takes her seriously as an artist. I feel bad for her because at one point she was hungry to be the next Rihanna. 
 

She’s just not taken seriously but she has one hit per era. That’s impressive!
