Great debut. Curious to see how this compares to G4U and DL considering it's quite downtempo in parts. Olivia always surprises me with her longevity though, guess we'll have to see!

#10 now on US AM, but only passed Uzi tracks so far today. Still #4 without them.

But early indications are looking good for the 2nd day

This song is so bad and the video is very basic

If you made anyone above 18 years old listened to this some years ago, everyone would have been laughing thinking it was cringe and boring. Nowadays, it has become the standard for the youth.

 

The song is objectively bad and that video is terrible too.

First of all her annunciation is terrible, I really can't understand half of what she is saying in the first verse. 

It's repetitive, the lyrics are cringe-worthy. another song about a guy who broke her heart... 

 

Do you guys think it will start to keep increasing like DL/flowers?

 

Or it will start to decrease steadily like EOM/Anti-Hero?

decrease but not steadily, i don’t see another Flowers moment with this one 

The melody is recycled from Sour, the lyrics are generic and metaphors are overused. The producer did an amazing job with what he had. The production is top tier but the song should be track 11 on her sophomore. Not the comeback she owed herself!

I think there is a fine line between writing a song about overcoming your breakup then writing about the guy himself. 

And which song did Selena release about Justin other then LYTLM?

it is not going to grow drastically the same way dl & g4u did, but let’s hope for stability. and i think it will. the thing with her debut was that she didn’t have a huge fanbase prior so it was growing. it could still happen now, but not in that way. this is gonna be more like 7 rings, where it could smash but nothing crazy.

 

anything could still happen though, this is just my feeling from the current numbers and on going talk online about the song. it isn’t in the virality of dl/g4u and that’s ok. she profited off the success of that & people are interested to check out her second era. this is all shaping up to be a good era.

The first verse is like a failed ASMR that really grates. The rest of it really didn’t save it. I’m sad, liked her previous work, don’t see myself ever wanting to listen to this again. 

SEA will grow the next coming days. she was never instant there & they had half a day so…
