I will wait and see if Labour takes power again (which is guaranteed to happen at this point) :gaycat7:

I'm sorry? What Labour? Starmer feels like a Tory in disguise and would never be consider "left" in any other country but in this one.

I understand where you’re coming from, but girl, everything you listed is arguably happening across the world. I live in Toronto and the cost of living is unfathomable at this point and now directly aligns with the other most expensive cities in the world (London, LA, NYC, Sydney, etc.). You think you hate England winter for 9 months, try Canada :deadbanana2:

Ive been debating moving to London as I’ve loved it before when I briefly lived there, but I too debate whether it’s worth it given it would be so similar to my current situation. What I realized, though, and as others have mentioned, there really is no “perfect 25 and sunny and sustainable living” major cities in the world anymore. At this point, you’re going to have to sacrifice many things and make it a pro/con situation.

I decided recently to quit my job and travel the world in hopes of finding a new place to move to as well, so you’re definitely not alone. But also know that 40C areas also get tiring real quick living in (as I’m posting this from Thailand’s heatwave). :deadbanana2:

Brexit legit ruined everything. :deadbanana2:

It made sure that the economy is a flat tyre.

It's a matter of time for British economy, wages, income, living standard,... to drop below Poland. Just like how the Italians screwed up and dropped from the level of Germany, France,... to that of Spain.

How did Italy drop from that level to Spain level?
