Music bingo

Featured Replies

Posting this here because I’m not sure where to post it.

I’ve started doing music bingo at a local bar. We do four categories each night (with a first and second place winner each round). I’m trying to not heavily recycle songs or categories so that I can keep it interesting. I’m looking for suggestions for categories and I figured this website might be good since it is a forum about music and pop culture. I’ve done the following categories:

~Rihanna (week of the Super Bowl)

~Songs performed at Super Bowl halftime shows

~Boybands

~2000s hits

~One Hit Wonders

~1990’s hits

~The Beatles

~Life’s a Beach (songs about the beach)

~Movie Soundtrack Themes/Songs featured in movies

~80’s hits

~Let’s get it on (songs about sex since it was Valentine’s Day two days prior)

~Breakup songs (for all the singles since Valentine’s Day was two days prior).

My typically audience ranges from 25-55. I try to do a few categories that all audiences would know. Does anyone have any suggestions for themes/catagories? This week I’m thinking “I need a Vacation” and “NBA team songs” for two of them.

mods, if this is the wrong place I apologize. I figured this was the best place to post.
