No they had the exact same amount of units (4.9m) for a few weeks. Gaga‘s now surpassed her with this update.

Their certifications are automatic 

and it wasn’t shade it just felt weird because gaga feels much bigger there

The Fame was certified 9x Gold (900,000) back in 2011, so they are clearly not up to date with all the certifications.
