Why has Britney never won AOTY?

Featured Replies

Unlike Beyoncé, she has white privilege working in her favor and yet she has never won AOTY, much less a General Field category. Why is that?

she's never even be nominated for one of the Big 4 awards :rip: how can u win an award you've never been nominated for?

She's never been a critical darling and her talent has always been questioned.

Grammys were very different back then tbh.

because the Grammy's never really showed much love for her, we all know that, and most of her discography came out before poptimism was a thing. The Grammy's have also never awarded anything to acts like Queen, ABBA, Diana Ross, not just in the general field, but anything. They gave her a Grammy for Toxic because they knew that ignoring its excellence would be a joke.
