You're rewriting history because that 3rd gen group you speak of always was on tour during their album release which is why they couldn't even promote their main single in their home country.

That one and only song is mad fawking catchy(lowkey all their songs are) Suprised that they aren't smashes right out the gate, its everything everybody is constantly saying they want boy groups to do. Very upsetting tho that not a single one can sing, like all their voices have that grating shouty autotune quality that Zico does, very unserious. There are also several members that are not giving the chemistry and energy needed for these songs so i automatically cannot stan, Especially that long haired tall one that is obviously meant to be the visual, his face is DEAD i skip everytime he's on screen, bless Jaehyun and Woonhak only two i bothered to remember the names of cause they very much give.

Only the chorus of But I Like You and Serenade, who are very shouty, their voices sound pleasant during bridge of the song

as if BP doesn’t have multiple songs over 500m streams and #1 peaking songs  

 

they don’t have Cupid like big song among the gp, but they are established, known and have multiple hits, which is better, I guess? 

The Album is at 2.7b streams and Born Pink is at 1.7b, how is that not bigger than Cupid? same goes for BTS’ releases 

and BP still has a shot at repeaking, depending on their next steps after the tour
