In this generation of popboys, none have been active in showing artistry and vulnerability in the form of dance. Most of not all male performers of this era are just content in standing on stage and giving us nothing. This is in contrast with the past generation like Usher, JT, MJ, Bruno, etc who not only excelled vocally but we’re not afraid to weaponize choreography in their performances. 
 

I think this has been because the new generation like Drake, The Weekend, Shawn and Ed are afraid to be free and who they want to be through dance. They are afraid to just let loose and have fun and afraid of the backlash from the GeePee. Yet there seems to be a growing movement in artists like Harry and Khalid who served choreography in his latest single Satellite. This is very reminiscent to the days of popboys being total performers and not being fearful of what the general public might say.

Bieber, Kendrick, and Rauw Alejandro were doing choreo before Khalid. I think Khalid did it cause he doing more pop music and ditched his R&B career.
