Pretty good album!

I liked mad at me so i was super disappointed when a lot of the album felt like Phoebe Bridgers music.  Idk that style is just too kiddie for me these days.   

This is kinda bad...The omnipresent organ is really boring and so serious that it makes her style of lyrics just seem diary'd and clunky. I shudder whenever the song starts "Screaming porn kills love" A downgrade from The Baby. Where's the Stellate of this album??

WOW! even though I loved a lot of it, The Baby always felt a bit stiff to me. This feels so much freer without sacrificing the emotional specificity or disarming lyrical phrasing that made her debut so striking. First listen of course, so I'm curious to see how it holds up for me but bopping for now

So there's this album of the year.... 

 

Loving the country influence in a lot of these songs.

one of the dullest albums I've ever heard

the upbeat songs sound lifeless and the ballads are beyond boring with corny Phoebe'd lyrics

only the title track was good

it’s good but it’s not “the baby”

honey, charm you & amelia are 10/10

Charm You is so good. But yeah, both of her albums are mixed bags for me. She always serves 7 really great-to-good songs, and then 4 songs that I don't really use at all. It's really annoying because I'm so close to loving her.

what does phoebe bridgers'd songwriting even mean lol

I like the cover of Maps she released a few weeks ago a lot.

I just realized I never gave this one a full listen... I'm gonna do that rn because i got nothin else to do lolol

Charm You is a ten, I looooove the line "making water boogie to a Kesha song" 

okay so yeah obviously there's no instance of full on power pop perfection like Someone Tell the Boys or Fit n Full but i had a really pleasant first listen! favs on first listen: Charm You, Pink Balloon, Nanana, Amelia 

 

 

this came out friday, great version! there's going to be more collabs of some (all?) tracks on the album.
