I know this post is supposed to be cheeky and shady but I pose this question after observing the cardi b "fandom" here on ATRL. How come Nicki Minaj, the most hated woman on this forum and on the planet, can still score hits and break records? while the very-much-loved Cardi B continues to slump when it comes to replicating similar achievements? I'm starting to feel like she doesn't have an actual fanbase, at least on ATRL, and all of the "fans" here are just Nicki haters.

Cardi B released one dud after a string of SMASHES and some of y'all are questioning her viability as a commercial artist  

cardi fans = nicki haters

nicki fans = cardi haters

2020 - 1 #1

it seems like cardi b has managed to land #1 hits during every year of her mainstream career so far except for 2019 and i'm pretty sure she had a top 3 hit that year.

I feel like if you can’t “stan” an artist without constantly bringing up the artist you hate, then you’re just stanning out of spite.

Cardi B is better in like every aspect 

I don't particularly care about either of them but Cardi doesn't surround herself with men who are problematic, disgusting criminals, so she's better to me by default. And yes, the bar is that low thanks to Nicki. 

That comment Cardi made towards Iggy really hit a nerve. Its still true to this day
