Only little monsters would agree with this, now come on. Lady Gaga used to be the blueprint for popstars in the early 10s and it's impossible to deny her impact on fashion and the pop image overall, but to think this still applies to the current mainstream landscape is... a thought.

 

Plus Joanne flopped both critically and commercially, and hasn't been referenced by none of the artists in the OP (especially since Rainbow and Younger Now are vastly different records and both Kesha and Miley were doing country/soft rock way before Gaga).

No one is saying Gaga was the first either   The point is that Justin Timberlake, Kesha, Miley and Kylie Minogue did country albums right after Joanne came out.

Gaga did it when we all thought Hillary Clinton had it in the bag.
