Their music consumption is huge (for Local artists) but revenue is very low because of low income, free YouTube streams, no one buys CD/ Vinyl there.

Yes, atleast partially. Spotify is massive in India but they have their own local platforms too like Gaana music so a combination of all these should be taken when measuring the success of western artists. 
 

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are the most popular western artists over there. Followed by Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa etc in that order 

Doja, Billie, Rihanna and Beyonce
