After the first successful campaign held by the ATRL Administration, I think it’s important to keep everyone updated.

 

I have been able to get the first set of injections (Ferinject), a few visits with the hematologist, a few sets of lab tests, that ended up ruling out any kind of autoimmune disease which was a huge relief.

 

Now, to my anemia, this is where stuff doesn’t seem to get any better as weeks go by. The doctor said I should notice an increase of the quality and size of the red blood cells and a lower presence of white cells. If this doesn’t happen by mid next month there are still alternative treatments and this NOT the end of the world.

 

Now back to: Surgeries, I’m seeing a different ear and nose doctor to figure out why every time that I sneeze (and this is quite literally), my my blood just runs out of my nose and throat, he’ll also be in charge of finding whatever is swollen in the back of the throat, meaning that there could be a revision surgery for this and a possible nasal cauterization to stop me from bleeding all the time, as I was writing this, had to step because it comes out of nowhere and in very large amounts, which is exactly what I’m trying NOT do do. I cannot lose any more blood.

 

Next Wednesday I have to take a set of blood tests again, to see how things are holding up.

 

This will be an update thread, a second part of the first one if you will. @Ryan BTE and @ATRL Administration@ATRL Feedback have seen first hand every part of the treatment, so I wanted to give security to those donating, the money is being put to good use.

 

As of the last campaign we raised over 1.5K, all of that amount is now spent between the injections, the clinic stay, the doctors visits, transportation and many other small things that came up along the way.

 

The new goal is to raise money for the second part of the treatment (and hopefully the last one).

 

So again, I will be receiving donations again through PayPal which is the only platform that allows me to access the funds directly.
