Just got rejected at the final phase of an interview after I started the recruitment process in February

 

But I got called to schedule another interview for a different position (at another company).

I also just realized that I SUCK at interviews in my native tongue. Like, I do waay better when it comes to interviews in english.

I think so. I couldn't even find a pic of a non-electronic thermometer till I included "mercury" in my search. I haven't seen a mercury thermometer since I was really little... Nowadays, clinics use those electronic thermometers that they just swipe across your forehead.

Oh, right, the forehead thing is how they do it now, I think my brother might've mentioned it. I have both a mercury thermometer and an electronic one, mainly use the latter, but I remember all those intimidating stories about how breaking the mercury one could lead to a disaster and you'd need to call the emergency services. It didn't exactly inspire you to check your temperature even if something felt wrong.

Forecast now calls for up to 200mm of rain by Sunday. Is the weather trying to literally drown us.
