Looks matter. Teenage Dream sound so much pleasant with that OG cover compared to the Complete Perfection. 

Listening to Teenage Dream, it sounds so nice when you're in mood for generic music however a bit too loud sometimes.

I don't prefer it. The album cover prevails. Anyways as a random note: cannot listen to a TD or a stereotypical early 10s song (with some rare exception) more than 3 times in a row. It is the ear-equivalent of eating too much chocolate. One or two listens when I am in the mood is the key. 

 

Generic party songs work this way for me.

Spotify is being so wack it keeps changing songs while I'm driving or some robot is like playing something you would like.

 

It only happens when im playing through my car speakers. I swear can they not touch that. I don't have a fancy screen display where people can safely choose there music
