I find it so bizarre hearing the songs in English after listening to them in Russian for a year prior. Snegopady and 220 just didn’t translate well to English at all. 

I wish it was released back in 2002. The original Daylight version is iconic, but this Night version is so aesthetically pleasing

Also, the fact that they once mentioned plans to make "Malchik Gay" video in 2001, to never perform this song or talk about it again just a year later...

Honestly, I don't even remember what the original sounds like. This is the only version of Running Blind for me

WHAT? They performed Malchik Gay several times in 2002 and 2003. Even in 2014 they did

It’s funny as Running Blind was one of my favourites on Happy Smiles but it sounds so bland now in comparison. I also like that she actually sings “echoes” now and not “airhoes”

You're right. They performed it during Show Me Love tour, but then it was absent from D&M tour and WM tour. They started performing it again solo & during 2013 reunion concerts.

Still they omitted the song during 2\3 classic eras.

Why isn't Ljudi Invalidy on Spotify? It's my favorite release of theirs, idrc about their English stuff

Back in 2009 there were some insiders from Neformat, who used to leak details about their releases and they spilled that Julia & Lena wanted to release "Running Blind" & "Fly on the Wall" as singles but were keeping the songs til they get good publishing deal from some label. I guess that sadly prevented these songs from ever being released as singles, which is such a shame because the other singles from this record were not it.

Apparently there are certain copyright issues between Universal, Interscope, Neformat & taMusic.

MTV Russia says that they can't get their hands on t.A.T.u.'s music videos in HQ because there is rights dispute.

I can’t believe that “Fly On the Wall” didn’t get the single treatment as it could have been such a hit for them. I was on another pop culture forum during the time it came out and everybody was obsessed with it. Missed opportunity indeed.

Exactly my thoughts. This was such a perfect radio single for 2007-2009.

Also I need a confirmation on the panties story. Did this actually happen? Why the deal fell through then?

Wasn’t Waste Management delayed for months and months? As I remember the artwork leaking so long before it actually came out. I was starting to think it wasn’t ever coming.
 

The entire era was messy from the single choices down to them releasing the English counterpart an entire year later.
