I didn’t mean that she actually had to do that. Obviously I wouldn’t want her to release something she didn’t like at all just to people please. But I’m sure everyone would appreciate a teaser of who Rihanna is as an artist after 8 years of silence, instead of a quick soundtrack from a movie, which would be recorded by someone else if she didn’t jump on it. So yes, I’m 100% complaining about that. I have no clue where Rihanna is at as a musician rn and 8 years is a long time to be left out in the dark.

 

However we’re never gonna see eye to eye about certain things because while I’m not entitled, I do believe she owes us something to a certain degree. I know damn well we won’t know for certain until the end of the year, but like if there’s any doubt in her mind that she might not drop this year, I’d expect that to be communicated to us. I’m aware she doesn’t have a contract with us but if you don’t think that’s the morally right thing to do, especially since we know she is aware of the anticipation from us (she herself said it would be crazy if she didn’t release last year) then I can see how you or some fans are able to justify or don’t seem to be phased by anything she does (or doesn’t)

 

But who knows maybe yall have the right perspective because expecting these from an extremely dismissive person (when it comes to music) is very frustrating
