JFAD flopped because Todd, instead of giving the action-crazy-spectacular film that fans wanted, he gave a boring courtroom-musical.

HQ flopped because Gaga, instead of giving the punk-rock album that some fans were hopping for (given the aesthetics and the Harley Queen persona), she gave a jazz-influenced album (very good tho, but not what people wanted).

That's what happens when you don't give people what they want.

I hope Gaga learns the lesson from this: that sometimes, it's important to leave the fans satisfied.

Sure she can explore her artistry, and release Jazz albums or HAC ballads. But she CAN'T forget in the mid time, to release what her fans truly want: POP music, with proper PROMO.

I'm praying for Gaga to give us what we want with LG7 era, after 4 years of waiting and after the Chromatica fiasco (era-wise). Otherwise, she will lose a big part, of the ramains of her fanbase.

IDC what people say about the Joanne era but the rollout was absolutely perfect.

From the IG Tile announcement, the Joanne pre era looks, the never ending MR performances (and iconic too), the Superbowl and the Joanne World Tour, the Joanne era went so smooth. They even recovered well from the second single Ayo to MR hiccup.

I know we're all excited but I wonder if she's a little too overexposed right now. Why not wait til after Christmas and drop something in January, for the album release in Feb.

Nice try, Gaga :ryan3:

log out your ATRL account and go announce the single on insta. NOW.

Only one 3 second snippet was legit.
we could take any snippet of the songs and put it in a video with another sonf then boom UMG COPYRIGHT.

I really love this song, it doesn't sound like gaga's music it sounds more like rihanna's disturbia- but what they're saying is the character is inspired by ga

yeah the song is a major bop hopefully they will drop a music video for it once the movie premieres

Do you children ever get tired of trying to  act like a multi Grammy award winning and Oscar award winning musician who has sold over 200 million records worldwide  "needs to learn a lesson" from a bunch of people who sit online all day doing nothing?

do you seriously think that in any world this last minute announced album that was meant to just be a fun project was going to "slay the charts"? Some of you have been so brainwashed by this idea of chart success that you cannot fathom the idea of an artist creating something for the fun of the art. This type of juvenile, selfish thinking is exactly why she doesn't listen to you guys anymore.

You all knew full well going into Harlequin that the lead single of the pop album that you've been wanting for so long was coming. Why are you removing that context and ignoring that? that should tell you that Harlequin was just a side project meant to satiate her needs as an artist.

Well- the Harlequin album isn't for everyone and that's a FACT. If someone says that they don't like something then don't try to force it so hard down their throat like my ex did last night. It's a classic album but there's a reason why it flopped and yes it's a side passion project or whatever- if it was commercially done it would've done better but that's not the point. Anyway- LG7 is coming.

I just feel it in my bones that DWAS will just laugh at the top with regards to  LG7's lead streaming performance. :gaycat1:

Anyways, the news that Joker is coming out on streaming at the end of the month tells us that God's team knew that in advanced and planned the new single the way they did for a reason. They knew joker was going to be over by the end of the month, it seems. This is more evidence that the Harlequin album was just meant to be a fun project for her because she knew the movie sucked, but she wanted to still have fun with the character

It's not on streaming but digital, which is usual business practice, recent films like Bettlejuice and Wild Robot is going digital as well.

that's just wishful thinking atp

she stated during an interview last month that the goal was to promote multiple projects at once
