Seriously?? Katy's team is sabotaging her, this is blatantly inspired by Chromatica's merch and aesthetic

I didn't wanna say anything but is that not a complete rip off? :deadbanana2:

Luckily, one era yielded a Top 5 and #1. Another is lucky to have a song chart.

I can't believe how backwards we have gone from thinking LG7 was just mere weeks away in May to us now looking at a 2025 release. Oh it's never a boring day for us liddos that's for sure.

She's in NYC to do some photoshoots for JFAD era and hopefully finalizing the album.

Screaming because I was browsing this thread and thought it was just something from Chromatica in 2020 she posted but then I saw your comment and looked at it again and saw Katy's name :deadbanana2:

ok, but having a live band on a pop album should not scare you guys lol. if anything, Gaga desperately needs to incorporate more live instrumentation into her pop music. that's probably one of my biggest gripes about chromatica outside of song-length; the album just felt way too synthetic at times.

The album was a house inspired record, one can hardly find live instruments in house music. I'm sure she's going to switch it up on LG7.

The album was dance influenced, not just house. And unless she's doing a sampledelia album, there's always room to include a live base or piano lol.

But yes, it's obvious she's going to switch it up on LG7.

Babylon is the best song there for a reason. Those godly saxophones. :jonnycat:

I need a lot of depth and texture for LG7 soundscape. Pleek.

Literally sh-ts on all the other versions even though Bree remix is cute. A discography highlight! It's only flaw is that it's not longer. Never got the hype for the tepid haus fads version either.

Mostly 90's, late 80's and early 2000's house music though. It was clear where she's going with it starting from Alice right away. There was no space to use much of live instruments. Sure there are house songs and dance songs with some live instruments but they were used mostly in the mid 90's euro house music for a short period of time and Chromatica had one song influenced by that period and that was Babylon. However let us not forget that Gaga  created three beautiful orchestra interludes which fulfilled my needs in that department.

i'm okay with gaga being the girl who only wears couture for events, the girl that no longer wears heels, the girl that just wants to sit around all day, just TELL ME ABOUT IT PLEASEEEEEEEEE

you could keep LG7 TIL JUILY next year and i'd be EVENTUALLY OKAY if you told me beforehand, gaga just keeps way too many secrets for no reason... like give us a new snippet, song name, visual sneakpeek, studio sneak, ANYTHING, i really hate the silence

I'm talking about mid 90's euro house music that used piano and saxophones a lot of times, like we've heard on Babylon. And yes those songs you mentioned along with pretty much the rest of the album are heavily house inspired in general.
