If she had gone further with the tacky special effects / 90s sci-fi vibe I would have bought it but she didn't... Filming on an actual desert and making it look like it was all a cheap green screen was quite a feat, tbh 3
atemyheartinc Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) I love how she remembers every designer, every award show and every piece of clothing she wore trough the years down to her socks. Edited January 29 by atemyheartinc 3
Bad News Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I feel like this thread does too much on Stupid Love (song), which is... cute? Not gorgeous nor lead single material, but cute. The tacky and cheap-looking video, on the other hand... 1

Bamboo Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I feel Stupid Love music video would be appreciated more if there was more expansion of the actual Chromatica and tribe concepts she was introducing in it. None of the other visuals from the album really elaborated on it further. If any album needs an Act 2, its Chromatica to expand on the cool concepts it did not get a chance to due to the pandemic
shimind Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I hope the gap between lead single and album is not long.. We need another Joanne sized era where everything wraps up in 2-3 months so that she can focus on the Joker promotions later. I dont mind short era since the music album is the only thing that matters. As long as its quality music.

Ego. Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Sex dreams deserves to have a viral moment those verses are some of the best in her entire career! I also think the bridge suits the song better than the demo version, its so groovy and ties the whole song together. The lyrics and title would never allow it to be a hit, but it will always be one of her best deep cuts 3

That'd be a waste of money considering the film releases in October, and the fact that as soon as that trailer drops it'll be everywhere on social media in a matter of seconds. Only Dune makes sense from the WB films. April is the earliest it'll happen, and honestly it could even be later. I thought April made sense since that was 6 months out and you could make sure to put it in front of Deadpool but now that Deadpool got pushed back to late July, I could even see them dropping it in May. Ikr that's what I said but it appears they wanna stay delulu clowns. Most monsters live for meltdowns though, so I guess it comes with the territory.
hausofbryan Posted January 29 Posted January 29 She’s probably just busy rehearsing for her GRAMMYs performance, hence the quietness. 1
shimind Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Haven't heard ARTPOP in a while. Might revisit the album today.

Puttanesca Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Ugh y'all posting the VMAs performance just makes me sad. The new girls don't care about making major moments anymore. They barely even care about performing their new singles. Streaming and Tiktok have completely ruined pop culture. 2
frankvert Posted January 29 Posted January 29 In advance of LG7’s lead single coming this week, Spoiler let’s rank Gar’s top 5 red carpet looks. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. 1
