They did Gaga wrong so many times. Her team was so stupid with submissions that year. BTW was the obvious choice for SOTY & ROTY (and would’ve been easy noms) but they went with Judas & TEOG Like be so for real. Also don’t know what they submitted for Dance Recording but BTW prob could’ve snuck in there too 1 1

With that said, people should focus less on ARTPOP Act II and more on BTW Act II. Gaga going back to being fully carefree and a bad ass risk taker would be nice.

Truly the pop album of the millennium Absolutely. Even some of the weaker songs on the album (Bad Kids, Highway Unicorn, Americano, etc.) have their own unique mark and identity. Not a single one of Born This Way's 17 tracks sound like any of the others. 1
sunbathinganimal Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Fun Tonight Plastic Doll and 1000 Doves are among the filler-iest songs she has ever released. Discuss 1 2
Kimi Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Born this way standard is what it should be and even bad kids feels necessary. Deluxe is too long tho.

Discuss duh and it's no shade. chromatica and the fame have some real fillers in there. they are her safest sounding albums too I fear 1
Album Leak Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Plastic Doll is the reverse Bad Kids. Spectacular chorus, horrible verses as opposed to Bad Kid's great verses but horrible chorus.
sunbathinganimal Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 I still think ARTPOP is her filler-iest album. I wouldn't even notice if Manicure, Donatella, Fashion, Mary Jane Holland, and Gypsy were taken out
Aden Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Fun Tonight doesn't deserve the slander it receives. Though, it would have worked better as a ballad. Same goes for 1000 Days Until LG7.

Vroom Vroom Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Fun Tonight deserves all the slander it receives. What a lifeless boring song that derails the album. It should of been cut with Free Woman
Bhabylon Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Fad Tonight sounded good after the Chromatica Ball
Bhabylon Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Mary Jesus Joseph is a highlight it’s only a matter of time until Gen Z discovers her 1 1
Album Leak Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Alice Rain On Me Free Woman (Demo Version) 911 Plastic Doll (Ashnikko Remix) Sour Candy Enigma Replay Babylon Literally the album of the century. 1 2
chosensparkles Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Fun Tonight is so misunderstood tbh. The lyrics are great and I love her delivery on it minus the oh oh oh oh at the end which kinda ruins it but that’s my main issue with chroma is everything mostly feels like demos 1
Andraslop Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 (edited) Has any insider spilled anything? About anything? What was the last thing @BlackoutZone said regarding Gaga's future projects? Edited November 15, 2023 by Andraslop

Aston Martin Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 This hits and in case you needed anymore evidence that Poker Face's godly chorus is timeless and works with anything, then here you go

I have a guttural '' cringe '' reaction whenever I hear the '' oohh AAAHH UH OH AAAAH UH OH AAAAH UH OH '' part and the goddamn kidz bop'd beat in the background. It just feels unfinished and phoned in, especially when the song puts so much emphasis on building up to the final drop, and you get zero satisfaction during the drop you've been anticipating the entire song. And the thing is, Gaga really knows how to build up a song and end it in an extremely satisfying way. She showed it in the Chromatica album itself. Rain On Me bridge -> last chorus is MAGICAL, same with Replay. But Fun Tonight just falls flat, and it's extra disappointing because there's some good material there that is ruined by an extremely lackluster and honestly very cringey drop/outro that doesn't do anything for the song, except ruin it.

That’s my main issue for most of Chroma Things fall flat and most of it just sound basic and generic which is so different from anything Gaga got us used to
Artur Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 This is so cool, so much better than the official stuff. She has such incredible visuals, it's unacceptable how bad most of her merch is. Literally losing tons of easy money.
