ViviLittleM Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 The only good thing that happened during that show + the piano segment of course, specially Shallow with Bradley Cooper

Freaky Prince Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 With Ariana meeting label execs and Katy confirming KP6 for early 2024, we are the only ones remaining in the shackles

As time passed, all those things turned out to be false. What has she even done for the past 8 months besides use her celebrity name recognition to shill make-up and medication? And no, singing jazz does not count. People clinging onto some 2009 quote like she isnt a 180 different person now

Escape Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Kids these days with their Olivia Rodrigos and Sabrina Carpenters... back in the day we had Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. That was real music!

Jessie Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Even if she ends up sleeping on the stuff that she teased after the nurtec backlash, imagine acting like she hasn’t got the biggest movie of 2024 coming up that will also include original music, that she spent a lot of the last year prepping for and working on and will end up being one of the most high risk / high reward moments of her career; like why are you getting worked up by a KP announcement bffr 1

Aston Martin Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Now we all know Ga wouldn't pass up an opportunity to release an album when chart competition is at its highest so we should take the fact that Dua, Katy, and Ariana are all releasing soon to be a good sign. #LG7Q12024Confirmed
Aston Martin Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 (edited) In all seriousness, I wouldn't be shocked if Q1 becomes the new Q4 in terms of releases over the course of the next few years. Since Christmas music has basically cornered the last two months of the year (and it takes out most of the hits of the prior year with it), labels will want their biggest acts to have something lined up once audiences and radio stations are looking for something new post-Christmas music. It wouldn't shock me if multiple labels are trying to get their Flowers-esque moment right as the year begins. I'm pretty sure that Q1 is going to feature Houdini at its peak in terms of streaming and radio (Warner's strategy and priority), Columbia trying to replicate Flowers with Halsey (she's rumored to be working with the producers of As It Was and Flowers), Republic pushing Ariana's next material, Capitol pushing Katy's, and Interscope promoting either Billie or Selena's next albums (I have a feeling one or both are releasing before Gaga). Whether Gaga releases anytime soon or not, it's going to be competitive (and that's not taking into account whenever the next TV is coming. Nor is it accounting for any of the biggest male artists like Harry and The Weeknd, both of whom I could see releasing this year and around this time period.) Marry The Gods Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 I love ARTPOP but Act II was never happening. ARTPOP and Joanne are good albums but they sound like someone who is going through an identity crisis. Even though Chromatica is my least favorite album from her, it is a more cohesive body of work than ARTPOP and Joanne. I really hope she's in a better headspace for LG7 because since ARTPOP it seems like every album has caused her pain with the exception of her jazz albums of course.
