Gaga and Imogen Heap would be a collapse. But idk if I want Godga to end the other girls and leave their skulls exposed and cracked.

Fun fact: Imogen presented Gaga (well Gaga wasn’t there) with her 10th and 11th Grammys at the Premiere Ceremony (ASIB & INLA) in 2020 :cm:

ROM is great

ROM is a big hit for both Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. The collab feels totally natural as the two women  love each other so much and share the same feeling on the song. The track had great reviews, strong success and won a Grammy Award.

ROM is the big female collab Gaga needed in her catalogue after Telephone. It totally worked. And ROM is the return to pop dance that Ariana fans wanted for so long. Everyone is happy.

Liddos will always find a way to complain about anything even when she has successful songs.

ROM is a great song, wish the last chorus was every chorus, but we can't ignore the fact that it's bombing right now. Its longevity is crazy awful. but music not the charts anyway

But it makes us wonder if people actually liked that song or if it was thanks to TTH that they listened.

Just noticed Rain On Me isn't even in her top 10 Popular songs anymore on Spotify :ducky:

Are we getting a glam rock era then :clack:

i agree w/ your take

MR ROM and DWUW are some of her best songs and they are second singles from eras that didnt really click but they did.

we need to get more of that magic on not just the second single for LG7 but for full album :gaycat:

I should not say this but I'll say it anyway

Spoiler

DWUW ft R Kelly is top 10, possibly top 5 song in her entire discography

Gaga's longevity is quite weird to be honest, TEOG was a big big hit back in 2011 but it's serving flop single numbers now while Judas is standing quite strong in longevity and while being 'rejected' at the time. BTW the song smashed hard and is doing underwhelming in longevity (considering how big the song was). Million Reasons numbers lately are very unstable and leans meh while still doing strong before Chromatica was out.

Ok TikTok helped some songs. But the trend effect is not always lasting. And some hits that trended long ago are still doing some good numbers organically without any new push (Judas, Telephone, Alejandro, Just Dance, LoveGame..)

Gaga needs to find a way to make the LG7 lead an undeniable event.

Dance tracks usually have meh longevity and it is not a solely Gaga problem, Break M* S*ul also doing badly on Spotify daily streams for instance. ROM did a good run considering its impact on pop culture was quite brief.

Her ballads and midtempo pop songs are also losing steam with the exception of ARUTW and Paparazzi. She just needs to plan a more coherent era next time around.

Almost all of her songs rose yesterday compared to last week, though

Glad to see people defending ROM. She really gave the gays everything they wanted with that song. People have been asking for a song like that since 2014

ROM remains one of her best track for me and one of my favorite ever, I never got tired of it, I also love the video, ironically I consider it also Ariana best song.

The song also won a Grammy, made several end year critic-media outlet lists, y'all truly want to dismiss everything this woman did.

ROM is a feel-good song so it is hard to get tired of. It makes me happy any time it comes on shuffle.

Ugh Perfect Illusion deserves its revival, one of her best singles, sounds fresh to this day

A lot of Joan has aged really well, but most music like what is on Joan seems to age better than dance/pop.

Sadly, we just do not live in a time where stuff like this can happen. If it does happen, it is typically by chance/accident and not orchestrated. Plus, she is pushing 40 so it is not going to happen.
