satnosaint Posted Friday at 08:21 PM Posted Friday at 08:21 PM Wait January 7th is the announcement of LG7 1
justin. Posted Friday at 08:22 PM Posted Friday at 08:22 PM Edit: double-post because ATRL advertisements are not bringing in enough revenue 1
Canonical Ensembl Posted Friday at 08:32 PM Posted Friday at 08:32 PM In the 2010s, new #1s usually got media covered, boosted in all metrics and eventually remains atop for more weeks. Is this "new #1 effect" still a thing?
Canonical Ensembl Posted Friday at 08:36 PM Posted Friday at 08:36 PM (edited) DWAS got 1.7M streams on Spotify US. Isn't that a re-peak since like thanksgiving? Edited Friday at 08:37 PM by Canonical Ensembl
frankvert Posted Friday at 08:41 PM Posted Friday at 08:41 PM (edited) Hear me out: 1. Diamond Heart 2. [an ACTUAL Uptown Funk redux] 3. Joanne 4. John Wayne 5. Dancin In Circles 6. [Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac inspired track] 7. Perfect Illusion 8. Million Reasons 9. Sinner's Prayer 10. [Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest inspired track] 11. [duet with Florence but a different song. Maybe Room in My Heart or that "what's wrong with love" studio snippet from 2015 that Liddos egregiously breathed & gagged over] 12. Real Love Baby 13. Angel Down 14. Just Another Day Why is this kinda her best album ever Edited Friday at 09:11 PM by frankvert
hausofdave Posted Friday at 08:50 PM Posted Friday at 08:50 PM Just Dance finally being replaced by DWAS as her biggest Hot 100 hit
MadMax12 Posted Friday at 09:01 PM Posted Friday at 09:01 PM I still hope the album is titled 'Garden of Eden' and that will also be the name of the next single. We haven't had an album with a defining single as the title since BTW 2

Human Fly Posted Friday at 09:13 PM Posted Friday at 09:13 PM Whewww She really starting this year with a #1 song, i hope she gets another one from this album. It would match the fame as her album with double #1 hit singles.
MonsterJohn Posted Friday at 09:14 PM Posted Friday at 09:14 PM is DWAS surely #1? Starting new year with a good new 1

And i hope they hurry up and she can get boosted by first major big release of the year hype. This time we will pray DWAS will lose in points so she can replace herself at #1 1

It's just a bit… loud but not in a good way like disease 2

This time we will pray DWAS will lose in points so she can replace herself at #1 She didn't ruin it, her team should be handling video timing and physicals. But at least they didn't put a ton of effort and then bomb. They can pull all of the tricks for her next single. The key is online buzz though and viral choreo or repeatable choreo is the way. The fact her first pop video in forever had no real choreo was a criminal act, as lovely as the video is.
Colmillo Posted Friday at 09:21 PM Posted Friday at 09:21 PM Just remembered Joaquin Phoenix has heard LG7 in its entirety, let's kidnap him 1

I think the release date was horrible and I think she could've gone harder week 1 rather than spreading it out so long, but besides that I am really into all the content we got for disease between the video, rolling stone interview dissecting the song, all the tiktoks, alt versions, and the song itself. it's kinda the most content we got from a Gaga single since shallow, or million reasons if we are sticking to studio album singles 1

Tbh she should release a collab as next single and should release another big one along with album release. They should find a way to compete with DWAS or this big single will ruin entire LG7 era singles with its insane longevity. They need to find a way to make them both exist. 2
Denim Posted Friday at 09:25 PM Posted Friday at 09:25 PM Disease definitely could've gotten a cuter, top 10-15 peak if they pushed harder on week 1, between TTH placements, video release timing, lack of physicals, and her going all out on tiktok. That I definitely will agree with feels mismanaged if I put my manager hat on 1
