there were rumours like two months ago about a collab between them and recently zedd posted a tweet with a mushroom idk, this might be an Electric-situation...

I've been revisiting Smile and I must say that I very much prefer the carefree electro-pop songs (nro, champagne problems, tucked, harleys, only love) rather than the darker and heavier dance/electronic ones (teary eyes, cry about it later, daisies, not the end of the world)

 

I know it's a matter of taste but I think her voice doesn't fit with that vibe (which is all over the witness album btw)

I was on a long drive today and listened to all of Smile. What wasted opportunities smh. She bitched that era. It should’ve gone NRO (more promo to push it into the top 10) > CAIL with the same hippie aesthetic > HIH. 
 

Like WTF was her team thinking releasing Small Trash after NRO. Then the year hiatus, and the random aesthetic change? What? 
 

she should’ve and could’ve kept releasing throughout 2019 to have the full era experience, but she ruined it by having her little droplet era that went nowhere. 

Also, does anyone think that Swish Swish would’ve been a bigger hit than CTTR was if it were the offficial Witness lead? Sexier, high budget video, w the same promo CTTR had?

mmmh... no? SS would've been a HUGE hit if released during the pandemic era, but i don't see it being a better lead single than CTTR in 2017.
